...About The Pack... "Alright kid, this here is our camp -- it's run by some royal fools." He said with a scoff as he took a seat on a nearby rock. Aida looked to him then back at me.
"This side here is where most of the Tachi wolves, but not all. The Clerics generally stay on this side, also. Those are the medical caretakers of the Kiowa pack." Aida said as she began to tidy up the leaves into a pile. I raised a confused brow and decide to take a look around when I suddenly heard Dessen exclaim in happiness.
"Ah ha! I got you you pesky bug!" He said as he lifted his paw to reveal a crushed butterfly. Aida growled at him and spoke sharply.
"Really Dessen? Is that really necessary?" She said rolling her eyes and looking back at me. "...Anyways, if you'll follow me this way," she said, leading me up a hill.
"Here you'll find--" Dessen charged up and pushed her aside nearly knocking Aida off her feet. "--That this is the glorious side is home to almost all of the of the Kunas." He said with a grin sticking his tail straight up as he trotted down the slope with pride. "You'll also come to know that this is also where the so called Royals stay as well." I perked my ears in curiosity as I followed him down
"What do you mean 'So called royals?' I thought they were your Royals?" She said sitting beside Dessen.
"Pfft More like Royals assholes." He said spitting at the ground. "These guys think there all high and mighty and better then eveyone else. Scum if you ask me." He said pinning his ears back in disgust. Aida quickly came over before I could even think of a response.
"Now now Dessen, There not all that bad." She said glowering at him. "They are to be treated with respect, they run the pack and keep it together. They take care of us." She stated. Dessen perked his ears and had an almost shocked face.
"They take care of us?! What does that even mean?!" He said walking over to Aida and sticking his nose in her face baring his clenched teeth. "Not once have the 'Royals' helped me or hunted with me or helped any of the sick ku- Kiowa wolves, for that matter!" he said angrily. Aida scoffed at him and scowled to him.
"Well with an attitude like that who would?" She said standing up leading us out of camp.
"Ohhh don't think were done here, Tachi." Dessen growled running past me and up to Aida. As they lead me out into the forest the two continued to butt heads. I kept quiet and followed closely behind.

...Ancient History of the Kiowa Pack...
It was told when the world was first created, four wolves were sent to live upon it. These were highly advanced creatures who bore "holy blood". The two females were blessed with the gift of creation. They were able to move mountains, create waterfalls, grow massive trees and shape the earth. On the other hand the two males were blessed with destruction. They could destroy everything in their path.
Not only are they powerful, the wolves were highly intellectual and could build advanced structures. In an effort to create a Utopia, the female wolves created more of their kind from the thick ice in glaciers. After, they began creating massive stone monuments and smooth granite temples to honor their gods. All was at peace for a time, until the two females began to fall for each other instead of their mates.
The males found out quickly and fell into rage. They murdered the entire race of wolves--excluding their families. Mountains crumbled, temples brought to ruin and forests were set afire. A once blooming society was decimated quickly.
When their gods descended, they were horrified to find that their beloved children had left the world in such a state, with thousands upon thousands of bodies rest upon the earth.
It was then they realized that mortals could not handle these powerful gifts. Thus they killed the two males as punishment and expelled their power from the females and their offspring.
The God's then told them that they would forever be abandoned by them, as the race of wolves did not deserve their comfort.
Knowing that staying together would cause emotional turmoil, the two females split up with their children.
The race plunged into an age of decay, ruin and utter depression. The intelligence they once had was washed away with the years. No longer were they able to create complicated structures and expand their abilities.
The two families became two separate groups, both wallowing in shame for the abandonment of their gods. Thus in effort to appease them, they figured that destroying the other group would gain their favor.
Chaos and death reigned with war. The war of which was driven by blind redemption in trying to please their deities.
Cougars attacked and the two packs were forced to team up against them. Though many were lost, they won. Out of fear for the return of cougars, they decided to combine their two separate groups into one.
For years, they have lived together in the Kiowa pack -- both worshipping different religions and both unable to sworn to not forget their abandonment. Today, the elders have retold the story multiple times. Things have begun to get so twisted that majority of the Kiowa pack have begun to stop believing in the myth. However, the constant bickering and fighting between the two religions has not left.
As time went on, new rulers came to power in the Kiowa Pack with different goals. The goals slowly morphed into one: to unify the pack and bring peace between the two religions.
Though some members of both religions have come to peace with each other, others have not. Those who wish to continue fighting each other do so in secret, hiding the bickering from the elites in fear of harsh punishment.
